The old house was renovated and the whole house was paved with wpc flooring. The foot feel and appearance are no different from wooden floors at present~

Advantages of wpc: odorless and formaldehyde-free, full environmental protection value. It can meet the requirements of moving in after laying. Its main component is plastic, which is not afraid of blisters and can be used in kitchens and bathrooms. The price is much cheaper than solid wood floors, and it is easier to maintain than solid wood floors~
Disadvantages of wpc: The surface of wpc floors generally has a layer of film, which may not be as wear-resistant as laminate floors. If the home is heated, the thermal conductivity is not as good as ceramic tiles
Installation precautions: The flatness of the ground does not require self-leveling, ordinary leveling is sufficient. If the cabinets are already installed at home, the cabinets can be raised by one centimeter, and the floor can be inserted later, so there is no need for the closing strips
In order to prevent arching, it is best to add strips in each room. The 1.5 cm extremely narrow strips I use are not ugly.
Regarding the connection with tiles: the bathroom does not require a door sill, so tell the tiler in advance about the thickness of the floor, and lay the floor directly into the doorway, flush with the floor tiles, so that you can use a very narrow bead to close the joint later. The bead cannot be seen from the outside after the door is closed.
If you choose a sliding door with a floor track for the kitchen, the floor tiles can be extended to the middle of the doorway, and the other half of the doorway is made of floor. Finally, the floor track can cover the expansion joint between the floor and the floor tiles, and the bead can be omitted.
At that time, spc flooring was also considered, but spc flooring is thinner, and it is easy to change. It feels cool underfoot and has higher requirements for the flatness of the ground. My family directly cut grooves in the floor tiles to change the water and electricity, and later used cement to fill the grooves. To be on the safe side, I still laid wpc~
